Evacuation and alert levels (避難)
For everyone in Japan.
- Find your evacuation shelter (避難所) now, on your city's hazard map.
- Alert level 4 (避難指示): everyone leaves dangerous places.
- Alert level 3 (高齢者等避難): older people, people with disabilities, and children leave first.

Alert levels (警戒レベル).
- Level 1: get ready. Watch rain and river news.
- Level 2: check your evacuation route.
- Level 3: older people and others who need time start to leave.
- Level 4: everyone leaves dangerous places.
- Level 5: a disaster is happening. Protect your life now.
Where to go. A shelter, or the home of family or friends in a safe place, or a hotel.
If going outside is more dangerous. Go to a strong building nearby. If you cannot, go to the second floor or higher.
At the end, check at the counter. You can show this card.
