For you if: you were treated unfairly because you are a foreign resident. For example, when looking for a home.
- Call the Foreign-language Human Rights Counseling line: 0570-090-911.
- Weekdays 9:00 to 17:00. Not on holidays or December 29 to January 3.
- You can also visit a Legal Affairs Bureau (法務局) office.

Languages on the phone line. English, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Nepali, Spanish, Indonesian, and Thai. Your call goes to the nearest bureau through an interpreting service.
Visiting. The main offices of the Legal Affairs Bureaus offer counseling in the same languages, on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00.
Myanmar language is not on the list. Call your local international association (国際交流協会) or city office for help.
