• Income tax (所得税)
  For you if: you earn income in Japan.
• Resident tax (住民税)
  For you if: you had an address in Japan on January 1.
• Join National Health Insurance (国民健康保険)
  For you if: your period of stay is 3 months or longer, and you have no health insurance from work.
• Pension when you leave Japan (脱退一時金)
  For you if: you paid Japanese pension for 6 months or more, and you are leaving Japan.
• Join National Pension (国民年金)
  For you if: you are 20 to 59 years old, and you have no pension from work.
